Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026🔒 Summary for Users: iPic2JPG runs 100% locally inside your web browser. Your HEIC photos, image data, and metadata are NEVER uploaded to any server, stored, or processed by any external cloud infrastructure.
1. Client-Side Image Processing & Data Privacy
iPic2JPG is engineered as a zero-knowledge, browser-exclusive web utility. When you select or drag & drop `.HEIC` or `.HEIF` files into the application:
- All decoding, rendering, and conversion to JPG, PNG, or WebP formats occur strictly within your device's local memory (RAM) using browser-level JavaScript and WebAssembly (heic2any library).
- No photo data, thumbnails, file names, or image metadata (EXIF) are transmitted over the internet to our servers or any third-party APIs.
- Once you close or refresh your browser tab, all temporary image blobs held in your local browser memory are automatically purged.
2. Third-Party Advertising & Analytics
To keep iPic2JPG completely free for all users worldwide, we display non-intrusive advertisements served by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense.
These advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, and device identifiers to collect non-personally identifiable technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, language preferences, and referral pages) to serve relevant ads based on prior web visits.
- Google uses the DART cookie to serve personalized or non-personalized ads to visitors. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- We do not share any personal files or photo data with advertising partners. Ad networks only receive standard browser telemetry data provided by your web browser.
3. Cookies and Local Browser Storage
iPic2JPG does not store personal account credentials or tracking cookies. We may use standard `localStorage` in your browser solely to remember your preferred language selection (English or Spanish) across visits.
4. Independent Platform & Trademark Disclaimer
This service is an independent, non‑affiliated browser application. It is NOT affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with any hardware manufacturer.
Trademark Notice & Nominative Fair Use
The terms HEIC, HEIF, and related file format names are used for identification purposes only. All other product names, logos, brands, trademarks, and registered trademarks mentioned on this website are property of their respective owners. Their use is strictly for informational purposes and does not imply any relationship, sponsorship, or endorsement by the trademark holders.
